Socialyte Child Safety Standards

Socialyte prohibits child sexual abuse and exploitation. That includes sexual content involving anyone under 18, grooming, and trafficking.

How we detect, remove, and report

When PhotoDNA or Thorn Safer is configured, a hash match blocks the upload, seals the evidence, suspends the account, and files a CyberTipline report with NCMEC. Other signals — a classifier flag that someone in explicit content may be a minor, explicit content from an under-18 account, or a user report marked Child safety — are held privately, the uploader cannot post or message, and the evidence is sealed. Those signals are not sent to NCMEC until a person confirms them, because a false report causes real harm. Confirmed reports are filed with the uploader details, the IP and timestamps we have, the content, and the reporter details we have. Evidence from a filed report is kept for at least one year.
